Petrol Skoda Fabia: what changes with a remap

On a petrol car the ECU controls fuelling, spark timing and any turbo boost. A remap re-calibrates those maps within safe limits, so the car responds more eagerly and pulls harder through the rev range.

Skoda Fabia 2.0 115 against other Fabia engines

Ranked by power gain against the other petrol Fabia engines (10 in total), the 2.0 115 is 3rd, 1 bhp above the Fabia petrol average of 13 bhp.

Across our whole catalogue the average petrol remap adds 27 bhp and 51 Nm, so this engine's 14 bhp and 30 Nm sits below that benchmark.
